Career Design Process™
Coaching Progamme
The Career Design Process™ is a step-by-step coaching programme which is proven to help people discover their innate skills, talents, passions and life purpose, and ultimately what will really make them happy in their work. I coach my clients to develop a vision for their life and how to realize that vision.
A simple 3-step process will help you design a life you love and develop a career that will bring meaning to your life.
The 3 Steps are:
• Find out Who You are
• Develop your Vision (Discover your life purpose)
• Define your Career Path
Step 1. Find out Who You are:
You were created for a purpose and you are designed to fulfill that purpose. Your life purpose includes the type of work you were designed for. Your DESIGN fits your purpose and the type of work you were born to do, perfectly.
You are unhappy in your current job because the work doesn’t match your DESIGN. Expressing yourself in your work, through your DESIGN, will give you the fulfillment you are looking for.
You need to know what your DESIGN is. Being able to do the work you were designed for will match your passion, your purpose and your values. You will not have to adapt yourself to fit into your job but instead your work will fit YOU.
I coach you step-by-step to discover your DESIGN.
Step 2. Develop your Vision (Discover your Life Purpose)
During this step we discover your life purpose and develop a vision for your life.
This is an exciting part of the process because things are now coming together and the way you are designed makes perfect sense to you.
You are able to form a picture of what your life can be. Your life purpose comes into focus and you are excited about your future. You know where you are going and your life starts making sense.
Step 3. Define your Career Path
With this step we define your Career Path based on who you are and what your life purpose is. We now determine the steps to a career that you absolutely love and that will bring meaning to your life.
You know how to realize your vision, what career options are available, and which career direction makes most sense. You know the career path that enables you to live your life purpose. You fulfill the purpose of your life through your career.
The Career Design Process™ is a simple but very effective coaching programme which will enable you to determine the direction of a fulfilling and meaningful career.
How does the coaching program work?
I offer The Career Design Process™ as a 12 week coaching programme.
We have a session once a week. You have one-on-one time with me so I can coach your life direction and career path out of you.
Step-by-step you will discover yourself, develop your life vision and determine a career path that will help you live your life on purpose. I am there as your coach to help, guide, support and encourage you to realize the life you dream of, having a career you love and experience meaning in what you do.
Where do your clients live?
I do coaching telephonically and have clients all over the country and even outside the borders of South Africa. Geographical distance is therefore no problem. As a matter of fact, coaching with me over the phone is extremely effective and I have built great relationships with clients I have never met face-to-face.
Do you do aptitude tests?
I do not do aptitude tests because it does not show what you love doing. We can learn job skills and become very good at what we do without having a passion for it. This is why many of us can be excellent at our jobs but find little or no fulfillment in our career. We learned the skills to do the work but never discovered what we would love doing and what will ultimately make us happy.
